People were also bringing babies to Jesus to have him touch them.
When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them.
But Jesus called the children to him and said,
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
I tell you the truth; anyone who will not receive
the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
- Luke 18:15-17

| Children are on their own journey as they create and explore their relationship with God and Jesus. Our Sunday school programs are designed to foster that relationship and assist with its growth. As you get to know us, you will find many opportunities in which your children are able to be a part of St. Elisabeth's!

Children Sunday school offerings for 2008-2009
We are offering Rock Solid: Building a Heart of Faith for ages four through 8th grade.
Each Sunday children will be invited to have a personal faith experience with God. They will come to know Jesus as
the Son of God and take His message to heart, following where their faith leads them. Rock Solid engages young
hearts and minds with age-appropriate multi-sensory activities, crafts, stories and games, all designed to give
children an opportunity to know God through Jesus and experience life-changing transformation. |
| |
Rock Solid is:

Youth Sunday school offerings for 2008-2009
For our Youth in grades 9th-12th we are offering a Video Series called NOOMA. Compact, portable, and concise, each NOOMA
touches on issues that we care about, that we want to talk about, and it comes in a way that fits our world.
It is a format that is there for us when we need it, as we need it, how we need it. We want spiritual direction, but it
has to be real for us and available when we need it. We want a new format for getting Christian perspectives. NOOMA is
the new format. |

Whichever service you and your family attends; please know that children are welcome!
Nursery is available during our 9:00 and 11:00 services.
9:00 a.m. Family Service:
We've created a service that serves the needs of our children and their families. Every part
of the service is tailored to teach the Christian faith and Episcopal tradition while engaging the unique needs and demands of
children. The music will be accessible, the prayers will be simple but in keeping with The Book of Common Prayer, the sermon
will be reduced to a story-time approach, and there will be a clear emphasis on involving the children throughout the service
with hand motions, movement, and patience.

The goal of EpiscoPALS is to engage our children,
families and friends in an exciting and welcoming faith community.
We hope to encourage them along their spiritual journeys
and to prepare them to live Christ-centered lives.
